Background

Clara joined the clinic in 2023 while completing her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Ottawa. Holding a bachelor’s degree in psychology and linguistics, she initially worked as a communication and language assistant. Since then, she has completed her master’s degree and now works as a speech-language pathologist at the clinic.

From a young age, Clara knew she wanted to work with children. She builds trusting relationships every day with the children she supports — and with their families — with passion and dedication. She carefully plans her interventions, takes the time to adapt to each child’s personality, and finds joy in seeing her young clients make progress, express themselves more clearly, and gain independence, one word at a time.

Energetic, attentive, and reliable, Clara has developed strong confidence in her role since joining the clinic. She especially appreciates the support, kindness, and availability of her colleagues, which make her workdays even more enriching and enjoyable.
