Background

Shan joined the Cabinet JBM team in February 2022 as a communication and language assistant. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and first became interested in speech-language pathology through her fascination with children’s socio-emotional development. Today, it is the meaningful connections she builds with children and their families that motivate her every day.

Bilingual, she spent nearly three years in the United States as a student and au pair in San Francisco. She provides services comfortably in both French and English and places great importance on reading nonverbal cues to adapt to each child. She is currently working under the guidance of Jessica Bélisle Macquart, speech-language pathologist.

Gentle, attentive, and empathetic, Shan strives to meet children where they are — in their needs, strengths, and challenges. Through play-based interactions, she supports them with care as they develop their language skills, as well as their confidence and ability to connect with others.

Her goal? To be a supportive presence for both children and their parents… and to make each appointment as enjoyable as it is meaningful.
