Background
Veronick first joined the clinic in 2019 as a communication and language assistant, then began her career as a speech-language pathologist in 2021 after completing her Master’s degree in Health Sciences (Speech-Language Pathology) at the University of Ottawa, with a minor in audiology. She had the opportunity to be guided by her mentor, Jessica Bélisle Macquart, which allowed her to gain strong experience in private practice.
She primarily works with preschool-aged children, with a particular interest in autism. She places great importance on building trusting relationships with families and strives to provide warm, professional support tailored to each person’s reality. Seeing children progress, grow, and experience small successes is what fuels her passion every day.
Veronick is known for her dedication, genuine care for others, and contagious enthusiasm. She enjoys being a reassuring resource for parents, supporting them with kindness, and deeply believes in their potential as much as in that of their children.
She is actively invested in her professional development, regularly participates in various training opportunities, and helps provide guidance to new team members. She also offers parent training through partnerships with community organizations.
For Veronick, being part of the clinic means being part of a family. She values the team spirit, the freedom to be oneself, openness to sincere reflection, and the shared desire to grow together.
