Background
Sylvie has been a Special Education Technician at Cabinet JBM for the past year and a half. She previously worked in the school system for 10 years, where she supported many children experiencing behavioural, emotional, or learning challenges.

A mother of three, passionate about holistic child development and always ready to take on new challenges, she adapts thoughtfully to the unique needs of each young person. Above all, she values building a strong relationship of trust with the child, convinced that it is the foundation for helping them grow, overcome obstacles, and thrive — both academically and personally.

Patient, dedicated, and attentive, Sylvie relies on practical and compassionate approaches to help children better understand their emotions, develop social skills, and strengthen their autonomy. Her unique path — including returning to school at age 41 and graduating with distinction — reflects her determination and her deep passion for working with young people.
