Background

Margaret completed a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science, with a minor in Psychology, which allowed her to develop a strong understanding of language, communication, and brain functioning. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, further strengthening her theoretical and clinical knowledge.

Throughout her internships and professional experiences, Margaret has worked with children and adults with a variety of needs, including children with communication disorders, children on the autism spectrum, and adults who have experienced a stroke. These experiences enabled her to develop strong skills in individualized intervention and personalized support.

What drew her to join our clinic was, above all, the human and personalized nature of the follow-ups, as well as the opportunity to work in a warm, collaborative, family-centered environment. Margaret is passionate about the tangible impact communication has on people’s lives. Being able to help someone express themselves, interact with loved ones, or regain confidence is a daily source of motivation for her.

Her colleagues and clients describe her as empathetic, patient, and dedicated. She strives to offer a safe and encouraging space where each person feels heard, supported, and valued, while fostering progress and independence. Margaret is enthusiastic about discovering new client populations, collaborating with the team, and continuing to develop her clinical skills in a stimulating environment.

For her, a fulfilling workday is one in which her clients feel completely comfortable and confident, allowing them to open up, make progress, and grow.
