Background

Hanaa joined the Cabinet JBM team in 2021. With five years of tutoring experience, she also worked as a communication and language assistant in the public sector for one year, where she supported children with diverse profiles. These experiences allowed her to develop strong listening skills, patience, and a deep desire to contribute to the development of language and communication in young people.

She holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Health Sciences, with a minor in Linguistics, and will begin her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Ottawa in 2026–2027. Alongside this, she currently works as a communication and language assistant at the clinic, where she receives clinical guidance from Jessica Bélisle-Macquart, speech-language pathologist.

Hanaa places great importance on building trusting relationships with families and supporting each child’s progress step by step. She especially enjoys seeing children gain confidence and independence through their language learning.

Recently becoming a mother, Hanaa brings increased sensitivity and compassion to her practice, believing that every small step forward can make a meaningful difference in a child’s journey.
