Background
Meggan joined the Cabinet JBM team in September 2023 as a communication and language assistant. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Ottawa, a significant milestone in a journey guided by two major passions: language development and children’s well-being.

In 2016, while working as a swim instructor, Meggan discovered how deeply motivated she felt by children’s progress and success. In 2018, she began her studies in linguistics at the University of Ottawa, where she developed a strong interest in human communication in all its forms. The transition to speech-language pathology felt like a natural next step, combining her personal and professional interests.

Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate, Meggan enjoys designing engaging and playful activities tailored to each child. She places great importance on self-confidence and strives to ensure that every appointment is both a meaningful learning experience and an enjoyable moment.

She works under the guidance of Rosalie Grisé, speech-language pathologist, allowing her to further develop her clinical practice within a supportive and collaborative framework.

What she enjoys most about her role is working with diverse client populations, observing both small and significant progress, and hearing the success stories that families proudly share. For her, contributing to these achievements is both a privilege and a daily source of motivation.

Meggan values the collaborative spirit of the team and the caring environment within the clinic. She sees every interaction, every appointment, and every challenge as a new opportunity to grow — both for the children she supports and for herself.
