Background

Sarah joined the Cabinet JBM team in 2024 as a communication and language assistant. She recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Ottawa and is currently taking additional coursework in speech-language pathology with the goal of pursuing a master’s degree.

Driven by a strong interest in language development, Sarah has always enjoyed working with children. As a figure skating coach for several years, she discovered the importance of creating a positive environment where enjoyment and learning go hand in hand. Today, she brings this approach to the children she supports in speech-language pathology.

Creative, attentive, and dedicated, she fully invests herself in each appointment: she implements intervention plans established by the speech-language pathologist, adapts activities to each child’s pace, communicates regularly with families, and documents observed progress. She is currently working under the guidance of Camille Vallée, speech-language pathologist.

What motivates her most? Seeing children gain confidence, speak with pride, and reach their goals — one word at a time.
