Background

Jessica graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2014 with a Master’s degree in Health Sciences specializing in Speech-Language Pathology. She began her career in the school system, where she worked for seven years. Driven by a strong passion for supporting young people, she also opened her own private practice in November 2014.

 

Over the years, Jessica has expanded her team and is now the proud owner of Cabinet d’orthophonie — Jessica Bélisle Macquart, where a team of more than 40 clinicians works collaboratively. Her clinical practice focuses primarily on school-aged children with academic challenges or learning difficulties, providing high-quality services tailored to their specific needs.

 

Jessica remains continuously up to date with the latest research and training in speech-language pathology, regularly pursuing professional development across various areas. Within the clinic, she also provides training to professionals, practitioners, and parents in partnership with several non-profit organizations.

 

Motivated by new challenges, Jessica feels privileged to continue developing her leadership skills while building a dynamic and passionate team.
