Background

Rebecca joined Cabinet JBM in the summer of 2023 as a communication and language assistant. Since childhood, she has dreamed of becoming a speech-language pathologist — a goal rooted in her own personal journey, having benefited from speech-language services herself during her youth. This experience gives her a deep understanding of the positive impact that a supportive and caring approach can have on a child’s development.

She completed a joint Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Ottawa in 2024 and has since begun her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Dedicated, attentive, and passionate, Rebecca is fully committed to supporting the children she works with. She places strong importance on achieving clinical objectives while building trusting relationships with families. She has a particular interest in articulation, language development, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and continually seeks to expand her knowledge and clinical skills.

In her role, she works under the guidance of Jessica Bélisle Macquart, speech-language pathologist, allowing her to further develop her competencies while ensuring that interventions remain aligned with best practices.
