Background

Mireille has been a speech-language pathologist at the clinic since 2022. She first completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Ottawa, before obtaining her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Université Laval in 2019. Since then, she has been working in private practice in the Outaouais region.

She primarily works with preschool-aged children and has a particular interest in childhood apraxia of speech and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). Calm, artistic, and caring, Mireille is dedicated to helping each child reach their full communication potential. She finds great satisfaction in seeing her young clients make progress and gain confidence.

Her approach is centered on both the child and the family: she aims not only to provide effective tools, but also to help parents better understand their child’s challenges, support them, and reduce worries.

Always eager to learn, Mireille enjoys continuing her professional development through ongoing training and speech-language pathology podcasts.
