Workshops, Conferences and Training Services

Cabinet JBM offers workshops, conferences, and training sessions designed for parents, educational teams, healthcare professionals, educators, social services professionals, as well as organizations and businesses wishing to expand their knowledge or adapt their practices.

Activities are offered periodically, and information is published on our website. Customized training sessions can also be developed based on the specific needs and objectives of each setting.

Our Specialized Communication Workshop Weeks

Since summer 2025, we proudly offer specialized communication workshop weeks designed to provide intensive and targeted support for children’s language development, with participants grouped by age and profile. This new format replaces our former day camp, allowing us to provide even more specialized, personalized support aligned with the specific needs of each group.

Each week is built around a specific theme (oral language, learning skills, social skills, etc.) and is led by a multidisciplinary team composed of speech-language pathologists, communication and language assistants, and a specialized education technician.

In addition, each week includes workshops led by guest professionals such as occupational therapists, animal-assisted therapy practitioners, psychoeducators, specialized education technicians, librarians, and others. These collaborations enrich the children’s experience and allow communication to be explored from multiple perspectives through a holistic, engaging, and practical approach.

Workshops are interactive, carefully planned, and adapted to children’s needs. They are offered in a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where enjoyment, learning, and relationships are at the heart of every intervention.

Workshop weeks are posted on our website each spring. It is also possible to discuss registration or specific recommendations based on the child’s profile.

Why choose our training and awareness services?

Our training services are designed to offer:

A Diverse Offering Tailored to Each Setting’s Needs

Each workshop or training session is developed based on the target audience, context, and specific expectations. Whether the goal is awareness, deeper exploration of a topic, or providing practical tools, our team creates customized content adapted to a wide range of environments and populations.

Topics Grounded in Real-World Expertise

Oral language, social communication, educational strategies, special needs, behaviour, family routines, parent–professional collaboration… The themes addressed are rooted in our clinical experience and continuously refined to remain relevant, current, and applicable in practice.

A Participatory and Practical Approach

Our workshops and conferences are dynamic, interactive, and grounded in participants’ real-life experiences. Facilitation encourages discussion, hands-on exploration of tools, and practical reflection so that knowledge can be quickly applied in real-world settings.

Qualified and Engaged Professionals

Training sessions are led by passionate professionals — speech-language pathologists, communication and language assistants, and a specialized education technician — who bring strong expertise along with the ability to present content in a clear, accessible, and meaningful way.

Flexible Formats and Logistics

We offer a variety of formats (in person or virtual, short or extended sessions) depending on logistical needs and organizational constraints. Whether for a team meeting, professional development day, or public event, we adapt our services to your reality.

In summary, Cabinet JBM’s workshops, conferences, and training sessions aim to make knowledge accessible, strengthen the skills of organizations and professionals, and support individuals of all ages. Some activities are offered periodically and posted on our website. Customized training options can also be developed based on your needs.
