Background
Frédérique joined the Cabinet JBM team in the summer of 2022. Since 2021, she has worked in elementary schools as a substitute teacher, where she has supported early-grade students through individualized French-language appointments. These experiences confirmed that working with children is a true passion for her.
After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Ottawa, Frédérique is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Alongside her studies, she works as a communication and language assistant, allowing her to apply her learning in practice, refine her clinical judgment, and deepen her understanding of language development.
Her work is guided by Rosalie Grisé, speech-language pathologist, who supports her by developing and adjusting intervention goals.
Authentic, organized, and always smiling, Frédérique places strong emphasis on building self-confidence and fostering the joy of learning. She has a particular interest in articulation and written language and values building trusting relationships with families.
Working in a clinic setting allows her to create meaningful relationships with her clients and contribute directly to their development — an experience she considers invaluable in her journey toward becoming a speech-language pathologist.
