Background
Maïsha holds a degree in Arts with a specialization in Linguistics (2024) and is currently completing a course in Child Development Psychology at Université TÉLUQ, with the goal of pursuing a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. For nearly two years, she has supported children aged 2 to 8 in their language development and also provides tutoring, primarily in French.
She joined the Cabinet JBM team in 2024 as a communication and language assistant, a role in which she truly thrives. Her work is guided by Sara El Youbi, speech-language pathologist.
What draws her to speech-language pathology is the opportunity to make a concrete difference in essential aspects of children’s lives — helping them express themselves, understand others, and interact confidently. She enjoys observing her young clients’ progress week after week — whether through parent feedback, follow-up notes, or simply in the spontaneity of a well-formed sentence.
Versatile, persevering, and optimistic, Maïsha stands out for her ability to build meaningful connections with children and adapt her interventions to their unique needs. She enjoys taking on new challenges and feels especially proud when her efforts contribute to making a real difference for families.
She values the collaborative spirit within the clinic and the support of her speech-language pathologist mentor, which allows her to learn and grow each day. For Maïsha, this experience reinforces her desire to become a speech-language pathologist and her commitment to supporting children’s development with kindness, rigor, and creativity.
