Cabinet d'orthophonie - Jessica Bélisle Macquart

Specialized Communication Workshop Weeks — Service Agreement
To simplify this document, the term “facilitators” is used to refer to all individuals working with children within the specialized workshop programs offered by Cabinet JBM.
Billing and Payment

1. Workshop Registration Fees: Registration fees are payable in a single payment at the time of online registration and must be made using one payment method only.

Advance payment is required to guarantee the reservation of internal facilitators present daily during the workshops, as well as external multidisciplinary professionals (occupational therapist, animal-assisted therapist, special education technician, etc.).

This payment also covers the purchase of materials required for the workshops, as well as insurance coverage for activities carried out as part of the program. These fees ensure the availability of the resources necessary for proper organization and the delivery of high-quality services.

2. Receipts: Official receipts will be issued for speech-language pathology services, representing one (1) hour per day of attendance at the workshops, at the current hourly rate for speech-language therapy services. These receipts will be sent by email after the summer period to the primary email address listed in the child’s file.

Please note that no childcare receipts will be provided for year-end tax claims. Additionally, our external partners (multidisciplinary services such as animal-assisted therapy, occupational therapy, special education, etc.) do not provide insurance receipts, as their services are delivered within group workshops and billed directly to Cabinet JBM.

3. Payment Management Between Individuals Holding Parental Authority or Legal Guardians:
Individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians are responsible for independently managing, according to their personal agreements, the sharing of information (receipts or otherwise) and the allocation of fees.

Cabinet JBM operates under a single automated billing system that does not allow for multiple payers on the same file. Sending receipts to multiple email addresses or splitting fees between different payers is therefore not possible. All fees must be paid in a single payment using one payment method, and it is the responsibility of the individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians to arrange any cost-sharing privately.
4. Insurance Coverage:
Many insurance providers offer coverage for speech-language pathology services. However, it is the client’s responsibility to verify reimbursement conditions with their insurer, including whether a medical prescription or other specific documentation is required. Some insurers impose hourly and/or daily reimbursement limits, as well as other specific conditions related to coverage for speech-language services. Clients are responsible for verifying these conditions directly with their insurance provider.

The client is also responsible for submitting receipts to their insurer for reimbursement claims.

Please note that Cabinet JBM does not initiate any insurance-related procedures and does not send documents or receipts directly to insurers. Additionally, Cabinet JBM does not have access to details of individual insurance plans and is therefore unable to answer questions regarding coverage. However, upon request, Cabinet JBM may provide a cost estimate to help clients verify covered services and amounts with their insurer.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Cancellation and Refund Policy for Workshop Registration Fees: The total registration fee is refundable until June 10 of the current year, minus a non-refundable deposit of $100 per workshop week. No refunds will be issued after June 10.

The non-refundable deposit of $100 per week is required to cover administrative and logistical costs related to workshop planning, as well as to secure the commitment of internal facilitators and external multidisciplinary professionals.

After June 10, the total registration fee becomes non-refundable, as resources and facilitators will have been reserved and committed based on confirmed registrations. Furthermore, by that time, most costs related to organizing the workshops will already have been incurred, including the booking of external professional sessions and the purchase of materials.
2. Cancellation Policy for Assessment Services (Optional Service — Applicable Only to Clients Who Have Requested It): Cabinet JBM applies a cancellation policy that it considers fair and reasonable, taking into account the time invested in assessment planning, preparation of personalized materials, scheduling coordination, travel arrangements, and other related factors.

Assessment cancellations must comply with the following terms:

-
Any cancellation made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time will result in a fee equivalent to 50% of the hourly assessment rate.
-
Any cancellation made less than 24 hours before the assessment, or any absence without notice (“no-show”), will result in a fee equivalent to 100% of the hourly assessment rate, as well as applicable travel fees.
Cancellation fees are calculated based on the applicable hourly rate and not the total cost of the assessment. For example, if the assessment appointment was scheduled for one and a half hours, the cancellation fee will be calculated according to the hourly rate corresponding to that duration. Travel fees and out-of-territory fees may apply.

Clients may cancel their appointment using one of the following methods:

-
Contact the speech-language pathologist directly by phone (if a phone number has been provided);
-
Send an email or text message to the speech-language pathologist;
-
Click the cancellation button included in the appointment confirmation email;
-
Log into the GOrendezvous client portal to manage and cancel appointments.
-

Please note that each speech-language pathologist is responsible for managing their own schedule, including booking, modifying, and cancelling appointments. It is therefore essential to follow the indicated procedures when cancelling an assessment appointment. The Cabinet JBM administrative team should not be contacted to cancel appointments, as this may delay the recording of the cancellation in the speech-language pathologist’s schedule. Failure to follow the cancellation procedures may result in the appointment being billed according to the current policy.

When an appointment is added to the system, an automatic confirmation notification is sent via GOrendezvous. In addition, a courtesy reminder is sent approximately three (3) days prior to the scheduled assessment date. However, appointment management remains the responsibility of the client, including cancellation within the required timeframes. Please note that confirmation notifications and reminders, although sent as a courtesy, do not replace the client’s obligation to follow cancellation procedures directly with the speech-language pathologist. Failure to confirm an appointment through the system or to respond to a notification does not constitute a cancellation.

Punctuality
Late arrivals, as well as early or late departures, may disrupt the flow of activities and affect not only the child’s individual participation but also the group as a whole. To ensure an optimal and consistent experience, Cabinet JBM encourages all children to attend at minimum from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., which are essential hours for the smooth operation of the workshops.

We therefore emphasize the importance of consistent attendance and punctuality, both in the morning and at the end of the day. Arriving and leaving on time allows the child to fully benefit from the activities offered, respects the facilitators’ schedules, and helps maintain a harmonious and positive group dynamic for everyone.

Please note that late pick-ups at the end of the day will be billed separately at a rate of $1 per minute.
Safety and Behavior

1. Security : The safety and well-being of each child, as well as the facilitators, are an absolute priority at Cabinet JBM. In addition to our trained facilitators, such as speech-language pathologists and Communication and Language Assistants, a special education technician (SET) is present on site every day to ensure optimal support and intervene when needed. Our facilitators are CPR-certified and trained to manage a variety of situations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

In the event of a non-medical emergency, such as disruptive behavior or an attempted elopement, Cabinet JBM will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of the child and other participants. Individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians will be notified immediately, and an action plan will be implemented if required.

2. Behavior : Cabinet JBM applies a zero-tolerance policy regarding negative behaviors, whether originating from children, individuals holding parental authority, legal guardians, or any other person responsible for the child. This policy includes, but is not limited to, violent behaviors (verbal, written, or physical), inappropriate remarks, disrespectful conduct, and harassment, whether directed toward other children or toward facilitators.

We firmly believe that both facilitators and children deserve a harmonious environment where they feel safe and respected. Any violation of this policy will result in the following actions:

-
First incident: A call will be made to the individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians to discuss the behavior and determine appropriate measures to be taken.
-
Second incident: Temporary or permanent removal of the child from the workshops, depending on the severity of the situation.

In the event of a temporary or permanent removal, no refund will be issued, in accordance with our refund policy. This measure is intended to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
Cabinet JBM relies on the cooperation of everyone to maintain a respectful and secure environment.

Personal Belongings
Cabinet JBM declines all responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of a child’s personal belongings brought to the workshops (clothing, toys, personal items). Individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that children bring only items that are necessary and appropriate for the workshops.

To avoid any confusion and help ensure the safety of children’s personal belongings, it is strongly recommended that all items brought to the workshops (clothing, bags, medications, etc.) be clearly labeled.

In addition, all medical items (medications, inhalers, EpiPens, medical devices, etc.) must be clearly labeled and given to the facilitators responsible for care. These items will be safely stored and managed by the team, who will take the necessary measures to respond to any medical needs during the workshops.
Modification or Cancellation of Services
Cabinet JBM reserves the right to modify or cancel certain workshops or activities in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as facilitator absences, logistical constraints, or unexpected medical needs. If an activity must be cancelled or modified, a similar replacement activity will be offered.
Cabinet JBM also reserves the right to cancel one or more workshop weeks if the number of registrations is insufficient to ensure that activities can be carried out under optimal conditions. In such a situation, all registration fees paid for the affected week(s) will be fully refunded.
Specialized Communication Workshop Weeks — Consent to Services
I hereby authorize Cabinet d’orthophonie – Jessica Bélisle Macquart (Cabinet JBM) to provide my child with the services offered as part of the specialized communication workshops. These services are delivered within a multidisciplinary framework and may include speech-language pathology interventions (assessment and/or therapy), communication and language stimulation, special education and/or psychoeducational support, occupational therapy, animal-assisted therapy, reading workshops led by a librarian, as well as a range of other activities offered as part of the workshops.

Administration
1. Information Form and Questionnaire: An information form and a comprehensive, detailed questionnaire will be sent prior to the workshops to better understand the child’s needs and background. The questionnaire allows our team to gather valuable information about key aspects of the child’s development, their history, and their specific needs. This process helps ensure that services are even more personalized and tailored to each child, taking their individual characteristics into account.
2. Preparatory Call: The preparatory call with our team is a key step in establishing a comprehensive and personalized file. This discussion allows the team to clarify certain aspects following the review of the questionnaire, ensuring that all necessary information has been collected. This helps guarantee that planned interventions are fully adapted to the child’s specific needs. The team gathers detailed information about the child’s needs, interests, preferences, and specific challenges. This may include questions related to development, communication, and previous experiences with other healthcare professionals. This meeting is included in the workshop registration fees.
Speech-Therapy Services

1. Assessment (Optional and Upon Request): A speech-language assessment aims to identify an individual’s specific communication difficulties. It may include the evaluation of speech, language, voice, swallowing, and auditory comprehension. The goal is to determine the individual’s strengths and challenges in order to develop an appropriate speech-language intervention plan.
At Cabinet JBM, a speech-language assessment includes:

-
The assessment appointment(s) with the client
-
Analysis of the results
-
Delivery of a written report (except in the case of an assessment addendum)
-
Development of a personalized speech-language intervention plan, when appropriate
-
A results presentation appointment
Certain services are not included in the assessment process and will be billed separately:

-
Completion of forms or drafting of letters
-
Any additional meetings with the client, individuals holding parental authority, legal guardians, or other professionals, including presentation of the report to third parties
-
Communications (phone calls, emails, sending questionnaires to be completed) with the client, individuals holding parental authority, legal guardians, or other professionals, unless initiated at the request of the speech-language pathologist
Before communicating with other professionals as part of the assessment process, the speech-language pathologist ensures that appropriate consent for the exchange of information has been obtained from the individuals concerned. If services not included in the assessment are proposed or requested, the speech-language pathologist will communicate the applicable fees to the individuals concerned before proceeding.

During the call with our team, more in-depth questions are asked and, based on the information gathered, the most appropriate assessment options and associated fees are confirmed.

Within the context of the specialized workshops, speech-language assessments are entirely optional and conducted only at the client’s request. No speech-language assessment, whether recent or previous, is required to participate in the workshops. However, Cabinet JBM offers this service at a reduced rate for participants, not only to help personalize interventions during the workshop weeks, but also to facilitate access to assessment services, which can sometimes be difficult to obtain quickly. This offer therefore represents an additional benefit for clients enrolled in the workshops.
For individuals who already have one or more reports from other professionals, it is possible to share these reports with the Cabinet JBM team. This helps us better understand the child’s needs and further tailor interventions.

2. Therapy: Speech-language therapy aims to improve communication skills and reduce the functional impact of existing difficulties. It is based on interventions tailored to the individual’s needs, including targeted exercises to strengthen muscles involved in speech and swallowing, improve pronunciation, support language comprehension, and use assisted communication tools.
Different approaches may be used depending on specific needs, such as play-based therapy, group therapy, or individualized strategies.
All services offered as part of the workshop weeks, including speech-language therapy, are provided exclusively in French.

3. Nature of Services: Speech-language pathology aims to address communication, language, speech, and swallowing disorders. Speech-language services may include assessments, therapy, and personalized interventions tailored to each individual’s needs.
4. Risks: Refusing speech-language pathology services may lead to negative consequences for an individual’s communication skills and overall development. Communication difficulties can impact academic success, social interactions, self-esteem, and autonomy.
5. Benefits: Speech-language pathology offers many benefits by helping improve communication, comprehension, expressive language, pronunciation, swallowing, and other language-related skills. Speech-language services can help address challenges and promote a better quality of life. However, it is important to note that treatment effectiveness may vary from one individual to another, and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Progress depends on many factors, including motivation, active participation, consistency of interventions, and collaboration between the speech-language pathologist and the client, as well as individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians.
6. Prognosis: The prognosis depends on several factors, such as the nature and severity of the disorder, the individual’s age, and their engagement in therapy. In many cases, early and appropriate speech-language intervention can significantly improve communication skills and future outcomes.
7. Side Effects: In general, speech-language pathology services are safe and do not present major side effects. However, certain treatment techniques may involve temporary vocal fatigue or additional effort while learning new skills.
8. Consequences of Refusal: Refusing speech-language pathology services may result in stagnation or worsening of communication skills, learning difficulties, low self-esteem, and challenges with social adaptation. The consequences may vary depending on the severity and nature of the untreated disorder.
9. Alternatives : Alternatives: It is possible to contact CISSSO by calling 811 to determine whether an individual is eligible for publicly funded services. Other private services are also available in the Outaouais region. Please consult the following list for more information: https://orthophoniste07.wixsite.com/orthophonistes
10. Costs: Registration fees for the specialized workshop weeks are payable in a single payment at the time of registration. The amount displayed during online registration is an all-inclusive rate. This fee covers all workshops as well as all multidisciplinary services provided during the program, including speech-language interventions, communication and language stimulation, and other specialized services. It also includes all additional activities offered throughout the workshop weeks, such as creative, recreational, and educational activities. However, late pick-ups at the end of the day are billed separately at a rate of $1 per minute.
Please note that registration fees do not include speech-language assessment services. These services are optional, billed separately, and provided only upon the client’s request.
For those wishing to obtain assessment services, fees vary depending on the child’s age and the nature of the request. The type of assessment required is determined in collaboration with the speech-language pathologist, who will ask more in-depth questions and, based on the information gathered, confirm the most appropriate options and associated fees. As mentioned previously, certain services are not included in the assessment fees and are billed separately. If additional services are proposed or requested, the speech-language pathologist will communicate the applicable fees to the individuals concerned before proceeding. With the exception of cancellation fees, no payment is required prior to the delivery of assessment services.
11. Confidentiality: The results of any assessment (if applicable), as well as any other information shared during the workshops, are strictly confidential. Audiovisual recordings made during the workshops are also treated confidentially and are used solely for analysis purposes.

As these are specialized workshops involving multiple facilitators who must collaborate together, it is understood that facilitators will discuss each child’s needs and other relevant information as part of planning and implementing interventions. By registering their child for the workshops, individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians consent to the sharing of all information collected about their child during the workshops with all internal facilitators as well as all external professionals providing services during these workshop weeks. Information sharing with these facilitators and professionals will occur without the need for separate consent.
However, the child’s file, as well as any other information obtained during sessions, will not be disclosed to third parties without the written authorization of an individual holding parental authority or a legal guardian, except under specific circumstances such as cases of neglect or abuse, physical risk to the client or others, involvement of youth protection services (DPJ), a legal order issued by the Court, an inspection by a Ministry or a professional regulatory body, or other legal requirements.

To ensure effective file management, the administrative team has full access to client files within Cabinet JBM.

For more information regarding the management of confidential information at Cabinet JBM, please consult the website at the following address: www.cabinetjbm.com.

12. Data Retention: In accordance with Law 25, Cabinet JBM retains confidential data in its archives for a period of five (5) years from the date a file is closed. At the end of this period, all data is permanently destroyed.
During these five (5) years, the client, individuals holding parental authority, or legal guardians have access to the file.
For more information regarding the retention of confidential data at Cabinet JBM, please visit www.cabinetjbm.com

13. Parental Authority: In order to provide services to minors under the age of 14, the consent of an individual holding parental authority is required. When an individual holding parental authority or a legal guardian provides consent, it is presumed that they are acting with the agreement of the other individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians, if applicable. Therefore, a single individual holding parental authority or legal guardian may provide consent for workshop services. It is important to note that this presumption also applies in cases of separation or divorce. A parent who does not have legal custody of their child may still provide consent for services. It should be emphasized that physical custody or access rights are distinct from parental authority.
Individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians are responsible for independently managing, according to their personal agreements, the sharing of information (receipts or otherwise) and the allocation of fees. At Cabinet JBM, fees are billed to one individual only, and it is the responsibility of individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians to arrange any cost-sharing privately.
By default, communications from the Cabinet JBM administrative team are sent to one individual holding parental authority or legal guardian. It is that individual’s responsibility to forward information to the other individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians, if applicable.
14. Questions: For any questions or concerns regarding this consent, please contact Cabinet JBM at info@cabinetjbm.com or at 819-962-8356, or the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec.

Multidisciplinary Services
As part of the specialized communication workshops, Cabinet JBM offers an integrated and multidisciplinary approach to support children’s development. Complementary services are provided by qualified professionals and are specifically designed to address the various factors that influence communication. These services enhance the children’s experience, enrich interventions, and help maximize progress by taking their overall development into account.

1. Intervention: The interventions carried out by the multidisciplinary team during the workshops aim to promote the harmonious development of children’s communication skills while also addressing other essential dimensions of their well-being. These interventions are tailored to each child’s specific needs and include a variety of strategies, ranging from direct communication support to work on related skills.

Multidisciplinary interventions focus on key areas such as emotional regulation, socio-emotional development, motor skills, and sensory regulation. For example, the integration of services such as special education and occupational therapy allows for work on both verbal and nonverbal communication, social skills, and behavior management. These services aim to enhance communication by targeting multiple underlying factors, including emotional regulation, social interaction, and cognitive and motor skills.

All services offered as part of the workshop weeks, including multidisciplinary services, are provided exclusively in French.
2. Nature of Services: Services offered by invited professionals aim to support complementary skills related to communication through a multidisciplinary approach. The specific programming may vary depending on the expertise available.

Examples of workshops that may be offered:

-
Cooperative games and socio-emotional activities promoting social skills and emotional regulation
-
Motor pathways, sensory activities, and fine or gross motor games
-
Artistic and expressive workshops (theatre, improvisation, visual arts, music, movement expression)
-
Cooking activities integrating functional language and sequencing
-
Interactive reading and early literacy workshops
-
Animal-assisted activities (relationship-based approach), depending on programming
-
Outdoor games, scavenger hunts, and collaborative activities promoting communication in action

These services are delivered in accordance with the roles and scopes of practice specific to each professional.

3. Risks: Refusing access to these complementary services may limit the overall support provided to the child. Multiple factors influence communication, and certain underlying challenges that remain unaddressed (behavioral, sensory, attentional, emotional) may hinder progress.

4. Benefits: Complementary services provide a holistic perspective by offering:

-
support better adapted to the child’s individual needs and realities
-
a safe and stimulating environment
-
practical strategies that can be applied in daily life
-
improved coordination between different areas of intervention

Although specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed, engagement, active participation, and collaboration are key factors that support progress.

5. Prognosis: The prognosis varies depending on the nature of the child’s challenges, the consistency of interventions, and the child’s response to them. A multidisciplinary approach often helps significantly improve quality of life, social participation, and emotional well-being.
6. Side Effects: Services are generally safe. Some interventions may require adjustment and may temporarily lead to fatigue, emotional sensitivity, or initial resistance related to change. These effects are monitored and supported by the facilitators.
7. Consequences of Refusal: Refusing complementary services may slow the child’s progress or limit the overall impact of interventions. Certain challenges may persist or worsen if they are not addressed through a preventive and integrated approach.

8. Alternatives: It is possible to contact CISSSO by calling 811 to determine whether an individual is eligible for publicly funded services.
9. Costs: Registration fees for the specialized workshop weeks cover all workshops, including multidisciplinary interventions provided by our partners. However, please note that our partners do not issue receipts for insurance claims, as their services are delivered within group workshops and billed directly to Cabinet JBM.
10. Confidentiality: Any information shared during the workshops is strictly confidential. Audiovisual recordings made during the workshops are also treated confidentially and are used solely for analysis purposes.

Other Services and Activities
A variety of additional activities are offered as part of the specialized workshops, aimed at promoting children’s well-being, socialization, and overall development. These activities include physical exercises, recreational games, outings, creative workshops, as well as meal and relaxation periods. In order for children to participate in the specialized workshops, individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians must consent to their participation in these activities, having been informed of their nature and associated risks.
All services offered as part of the workshop weeks are provided exclusively in French.

1. Physical and Recreational Activities: The physical activities offered during the workshops are designed to be engaging and active and may include group games, obstacle courses, simple sports, and more. To ensure the safety and comfort of each child, it is important to take the following into consideration:

-
Physical Risks: Although activities are supervised, there is a possibility of minor injuries (scrapes, falls, sprains). If there is any doubt, it is important to inform the team if a child has a history of injuries or specific health conditions.

-
Adaptations: If a child has specific needs, medical recommendations, or preferences regarding certain activities, it is essential to inform the team so that activities can be adapted accordingly.
-
Appropriate Clothing: Children should be provided with suitable clothing, including comfortable, durable shoes designed for physical activities.

-
Hydration and Breaks: Regular hydration breaks are planned. If a child has specific hydration needs or requires more frequent breaks, the Cabinet JBM team must be informed.

2. Outings and Outdoor Activities: The workshop weeks include outings such as park visits and outdoor activities.

-
Safe Transportation: All outings are conducted on foot and are organized safely, ensuring that children are supervised at all times.

-
Outdoor Risks: Outdoor activities, while beneficial for development, may involve certain risks (e.g., falls on uneven terrain, insect bites, sun exposure). It is important that children are prepared accordingly (sun protection, appropriate clothing, water bottle, etc.)

If an individual holding parental authority or a legal guardian does not wish their child to participate in a specific outing or certain outdoor activities, they must inform the Cabinet JBM team in advance so that alternatives can be considered, if possible.

3. Water Games and Cooling Activities: Water play activities are part of the recreational programming offered during the workshop weeks. These activities are designed to be refreshing and enjoyable while allowing children to thrive in a safe environment. However, certain risks may exist, including slips or accidental splashing. To ensure a safe and positive experience, the following should be considered:

-
Constant Supervision: All water activities are supervised by adults; however, individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians must acknowledge the inherent risks.

-
Sun Protection and Safety: Sunscreen and hats are essential to protect children’s skin. Appropriate clothing (swimsuit, beach towel, etc.) is required, and non-slip footwear is recommended.

-
Clothing Preparation: Children may get wet during these activities. A change of clothes and a towel must be provided to ensure comfort afterward.

4. Relaxation Periods and Creative Activities: Throughout the day, relaxation periods are scheduled, including creative activities such as art workshops, improvisation, music, and crafts. These moments are designed to stimulate children’s creativity while also encouraging relaxation and focus.

-
Use of Materials: Creative activities may involve the use of paint, glue, scissors, or other materials. All materials are safe and age-appropriate; however, any concerns or conditions that could affect a child’s safety during these activities must be communicated to the team.

5. Participation in Group Activities and Social Interactions: Workshops include group games and social interactions among children, supporting social, emotional, and behavioral development. Some children may have specific social needs. If a child has particular challenges or preferences regarding social interactions, it is essential to inform the team.

-
Supervised Interaction: All interactions between children are supervised.

6. Meals, Snacks, and Allergies: Meals and snacks are provided by individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians. Each child must bring a well-prepared lunchbox for each workshop day. Nutritious and balanced meals and snacks are recommended to support energy and concentration throughout the day.

A form will be sent to collect specific information about each child’s needs, including allergies, epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen) use, or other food-related medical conditions. This allows staff to respond promptly and appropriately in the event of an allergic reaction or food-related incident.

Although CabinetJBM asks individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians to carefully monitor allergens in their child’s belongings, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. It is important that families are fully aware of this when registering their child.

7. Medical Needs and Emergencies: Individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians must inform CabinetJBM of any specific medical conditions, including health needs, medications, or ongoing medical care. A form will be sent to gather detailed information, including medications to be administered, required treatments, or any condition requiring special attention during the workshops. This allows staff to adapt care and respond appropriately if needed.

CabinetJBM strives to be inclusive and to adapt to each child’s individual needs. However, certain specific medical conditions may not be fully accommodated. In such cases, a discussion will be held with the family to explore possible options and determine the most appropriate solution.

In the event of a medical emergency requiring immediate care, CabinetJBM authorizes staff to take all necessary measures to ensure the child’s health and safety, including administering first aid and consulting a healthcare professional if needed. Individuals holding parental authority or legal guardians authorize CabinetJBM to contact emergency services when necessary and to share the child’s relevant medical information with appropriate professionals.

8. End of Services: The conclusion of the specialized workshops marks the end of services provided by CabinetJBM and the closure of associated files. No follow-up or additional services are included after the end of the workshops, except for regular clients already receiving services from CabinetJBM, whose services will continue according to prior arrangements. However, CabinetJBM remains available to answer questions or provide recommendations regarding next steps to support the child’s continued development.
